Lessons from Lenny
Open SourceInteractive AI skills for PMs and founders, distilled from 269 episodes of Lenny's Podcast
The Story
This project exists because Lenny Rachitsky did something generous: he open sourced the transcripts from 269 episodes of his podcast. Hundreds of hours of conversations with the best product minds in the world, just sitting there. I thought: what if you could make that knowledge interactive? Not summaries. Not blog posts. AI workflows that guide you through proven frameworks while you work.
I built 10 Claude Code skills covering PRD Writing, Sales Pitch, Product-Market Fit, Customer Discovery, Feature Scoping, Startup Ideas, Storytelling, Pricing, A/B Testing, and Prioritization. Each one draws on frameworks from experts like April Dunford, Teresa Torres, Shreyas Doshi, and Sean Ellis.

Lessons from Lenny was made so you can create your own skills from expert advice!
How It Works
The workflow has two steps. First, Claude reads the transcripts and builds a comprehensive "ultimate guide" for each topic, synthesising frameworks, quotes, and case studies from across multiple episodes. Then it creates an interactive skill on top of that guide. Type /prd and Claude walks you through writing a Product Requirement Document. Type /sales-pitch and it guides you through April Dunford's positioning framework. The AI asks the right questions, pushes back on weak answers, and generates real deliverables grounded in expert frameworks.
Why Open Source
The repo is designed so anyone can clone it, point Claude at the transcripts, and create new skills on whatever topic they want. That's the part I'm most excited about. The 10 skills I built are useful, but the real value is the two-step workflow: have Claude build an ultimate guide from the source material, then create an interactive skill on top of it. Anyone can do this for any topic. This is what I mean when I talk about AI beyond coding. It's not just writing code for you. It's making entire bodies of knowledge interactive and accessible.
